Razer updates Blade 15 Studio laptop with Core i7-10875H octacore

Razer is releasing a new version of its Blade 15 Studio Edition laptop. The 15.6 “laptop still has a 4K OLED screen and a Quadro RTX 5000 GPU, but the CPU is now an Intel Core i7-10875H octacore, the predecessor had a hexacore. The laptop costs 4599 euros.

In the previous version of the Blade 15 Studio Edition, Razer used the Intel Core i7-9750H processor. The model that comes out now has the Core i7-10875H. That octacore has a turbo speed of up to 5.1GHz. Furthermore, the laptop is the same as its predecessor. The video card is an Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 with 16GB gddr6 and 48 RT cores.

The display consists of a 15.6″ touchscreen that uses an OLED panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The panel can display the full dci-p3 color space and is calibrated at the factory. The housing is made of one block of aluminum; the dimensions are 355x235x17.8 mm Razer provides the laptop with 32GB DDR4-2933, a 1TB NVME SSD and an 80Wh battery.

The laptop has two usb-c connections, one with thunderbolt 3. There are also two usb 3.2 gen2 connections with type-a connector and an hdmi 2.0b connection on the housing. The laptop also has a UHS-III SD card reader.

Earlier this year, Razer already presented a Blade 15 with GeForce GPU, aimed at gamers. With the Studio Edition, the manufacturer is targeting graphic professionals, among others. The new Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition is the successor to the model of the same name that Razer announced in September last year. That version with older hardware then came out for 4400 euros. The new model is therefore 200 euros more expensive at release.
