Razer releases Opus headphones with noise cancellation for 210 euros
Razer introduces the Opus, active noise canceling headphones with THX certification. The headphones automatically pause music when users turn them off and according to the manufacturer, they last 25 hours on a single battery charge.
The Razer Opus is equipped with four microphones with which ambient sound is recorded. On the basis of this, counter-noise is generated for the active noise cancellation. The headphones also have two microphones for speech. The audio reproduction is provided by two dynamic 40mm drivers.
Pressing the anc button activates Quick Attention mode. In addition, ambient noise is amplified, so that users can hear someone talking, for example. With an Opus Mobile app, users can choose from different equalizer presets and read the battery status.
With anc switched on, the battery would last up to 25 hours. The headphones work with bluetooth 4.2, but also have a 3.5mm connection. The weight is 265 grams and charging is via a USB-C connection. Razer offers the Opus through its own website for 210 euros.
