Razer releases Huntsman Mini keyboard with 60% layout
Razer releases its first keyboard with 60% layout. The Huntsman Mini is equipped with Razer’s own optical switches, in clicky or linear design. The clicky version is available for 130 euros, the linear version will follow in August for 140 euros.
The Razer Huntsman Mini has a minimal layout, with no arrow keys, function keys or numeric keypad. Razer uses an aluminum construction and PBT keycaps printed on the side for secondary options, which can be activated with the Fn key.
Razer provides the Huntsman Mini with its own optical switches. There is a choice of the existing purple clicky variants with an actuation point of 1.5mm and improved linear red switches with the actuation point at a distance of 1mm. The renewed switches are quieter, according to the manufacturer. There are audio examples of this on the Razer website.
The small keyboard has RGB lighting for each key and onboard memory to store lighting effect presets. The keyboard has a USB-C cable that is detachable. The Huntsman Mini comes in a black and a white version.
