Razer provides keyboard for iPad Pro with mechanical switches
Razer has announced the Razer Mechanical Keyboard Case for the iPad Pro. As the name implies, it is a tablet holder for the iPad Pro with keyboard, which has mechanical switches for more typing comfort.
The switches come from Razer itself and are low-profile, requiring a pressure of 70 grams to be registered as a keystroke. The manufacturer has had its own production lines for switches since the beginning of this year and will equip more products with the low-profile models in the future.
Razer has designed the keyboard like that of a laptop, with flat keys and a slightly recessed position. The keys provide backlighting with twenty positions and the component connects to the iPad Pro via bluetooth. As far as battery life is concerned, Razer gives an indication of the extremes: that would be 10 hours with maximum backlight brightness and 600 hours with the backlight off.
The tablet itself is placed in a polycarbonate holder, which is detachable from the keyboard and has a metal stand that rests flat on a surface. Razer’s Mechanical Keyboard Case for the iPad Pro will cost 189.99 euros and will be available immediately.
