Razer launches Blade Stealth laptop with external graphics card case

Manufacturer Razer has announced a new laptop in its Blade series, the Blade Stealth. The laptop differs from its predecessors in compatibility with Razer’s external video card housing, the Razer Core.

The Razer Blade Stealth itself has an Intel Core i7-6500U dual-core with hyperthreading at 2.5GHz or at 3.1GHz with turbo. It also has 8GB of RAM with a speed of 1866MHz. The screen has a size of 12.5 “and there is a choice between two types: quad hd and uhd. There is also a choice in terms of storage space. With the quad-hd version of the Stealth you can choose between a 128GB and a 256GB SSD.With the uhd variant, there is a choice between an SSD with 256GB and one with 512GB storage space.

The video card that comes standard in the Blade Stealth is an Intel HD Graphics 520. However, the user is not completely stuck with this card. Razer has also announced the Razer Core. The Core is an external housing for graphics cards. The Core accommodates what Razer calls a “single double-wide, full-length” video card. The housing therefore has room for one double-thickness video card, which includes many high-end video cards. The Stealth can be connected to the Core thanks to the USB-c port with Thunderbolt 3 on the Stealth.

The price of the Razer Blade Stealth starts at $ 999 and goes up to $ 1599 for the top model. The laptops will ship in the United States from January 29.
