Razer is releasing an updated version of its Hammerhead True Wireless earphones released last year. The new version has active noise cancellation as a new addition and still has a lower latency mode for games. The bluetooth earplugs cost 210 euros.

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro earphones have active noise cancellation and THX certification as the main additions. According to Razer, the earbuds already provide good passive isolation for outside noise and two internal and two external microphones should further amplify that effect. There is also an opposite mode, where outside sound is actually transmitted.

The earplugs have 10mm drivers and support a low latency bluetooth 5.1 connection. A Game Mode can be activated at the touch of a button, which would limit the latency during gameplay to 60ms. This function was also included with last year’s Hammerhead True Wireless earphones, which incidentally have slightly larger 13mm drivers.

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro has a button to switch between noise cancellation and hearing ambient noise, but also music, calls and the voice assistant can be operated with it. Users can also use a mobile iOS or Android app to adjust the equalizer and touch gestures, among other things.

Razer’s new bluetooth earplugs have a battery life of 20 hours in total. The ears last for 4 hours. A charging case is included, with which they can be charged a total of four times. This brings the total to 20 hours. The earbuds have an ipx4 certification against water and sweat and come with different sizes of the silicone tips.
