Razer Introduces Two Cynosa Chroma Keyboards
Razer has announced the Cynosa Chroma and Cynosa Chroma Pro keyboards. They are two entry-level keyboards that have backlighting that can be adjusted separately for each key. The keyboards work in conjunction with Razer’s Synapse 3 software.
Both Cynosa Chroma models have muted keys and support 1000Hz polling, 10-key rollover and anti-ghosting. In addition, they are spill resistant. The backlight can display 16.9 million colors where each key can be controlled individually. The only advantage the Pro version has over the regular Cynosa Chroma is that it has 24 adjustable lighting zones, for a ‘glow effect’ at the bottom.
According to Razer, they are the first keyboards to support version 3 of the Synapse software. This software is still in beta. It allows users to adjust lighting, assign keys to functions and set macros. The Cynosa Chroma keyboards have the ability to record macros while gaming.
The Razer Cynosa Chroma has a suggested retail price of 70 euros, the Pro version will be available for a suggested retail price of 90 euros.
