Razer introduces RGB cooling fan for smartphones for 70 euros
Razer introduces its Phone Cooler Chroma. This fan is intended to cool smartphones and has RGB LEDs. The manufacturer provides the fan with MagSafe support for iPhones or a separate ‘mounting clamp’ for other phones. The fan costs 70 euros.
Razer reports on its website that the Phone Cooler Chroma features a seven-blade fan that spins at up to 6400rpm, with a ‘quiet sound profile’ of 30dB. The housing is also equipped with an aluminum cooling block. However, the company does not mention cooling performance on its website. Users can connect the fan to their smartphone via Bluetooth, thereby adjusting the settings of the fan and controlling the twelve integrated RGB LEDs. The Phone Cooler Chroma also has an on/off button. The fan does not have a built-in battery, but is powered via USB-C. The fan comes with a 1.5 meter USB cable.
Razer is releasing two variants of the smartphone fan. The company is coming with a MagSafe version, which is intended for the Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series. The manufacturer is also introducing a ‘universal version’ with mounting clamp, which allows the fan to be attached to older iPhones and Android devices. Both variants cost 70 euros in Europe. The fan is already available on the Razer website.
