Razer Introduces PlayStation 4 Controllers With App-Adjustable Sensitivity
Razer comes with two new controllers for the PlayStation 4. The Raiju Ultimate and the Raiju Tournament Edition top model can be used both wirelessly and with cable. The sensitivity can be adjusted with an app.
The Razer Raiju Ultimate is the top model and is equipped with Razer Chroma RGB lighting. The analog sticks and the D-pad of this controller are also interchangeable. There is also a control panel on the Ultimate, with which the four extra multifunctional buttons can be configured. It is also possible to use an app for the configuration and via that app the sensitivity of the controller can be set.
The Razer Raiju Tournament Edition is a cheaper version without RGB lighting and without a control panel. The buttons are also not interchangeable. Furthermore, the functionality is the same, this controller can also be set with an app. It is also possible to save profiles for different gamers.
Razer also comes with a new headset for gamers. The Razer Thresher works wirelessly with the PlayStation 4 over a 2.4GHz connection, but it can also be wired to other consoles. The headset has a retractable microphone and leather ear cups with memory foam.
Razer will be selling the controllers and headset immediately via its website, and they should also be available for sale worldwide through other channels in the fall. The Raiju Ultimate costs 200 euros, the Tournament Edition costs 150 euros and the Thresher headset costs 130 euros.
