Razer comes with a mouse, mat and keyboard for the business market
Razer is expanding its Productivity Suite with a wireless mouse, a wireless keyboard and a mouse pad. The mouse, keyboard and mat will be on sale from August 20, for 110, 150 and 12 euros respectively.
Razer is expanding the Productivity Suite with the Pro Click, the Pro Type and Pro Glide, as the new wireless mouse, wireless keyboard and mouse pad have been christened. The Pro Click is a wireless mouse whose shape has been designed by Razer in collaboration with Humanscale, a design firm specializing in ergonomics. This resulted in a mouse that places the hand at an angle of 30 degrees, which, according to Humanscale, is the ideal position. That should prevent injuries. The mouse has eight programmable buttons and a built-in battery that should last for four hundred hours. The mouse can be connected to four devices at the same time via Bluetooth. The Pro Click will cost 110 euros.
Like the Pro Click, the Pro Type keyboard comes in white with gray accents. The mechanical keyboard features Razer’s own Orange keys that should be quieter than the usual mechanical keys. The keys also have a coating that should make typing less tiring. The keys have white backlighting and can all be programmed at will. The Pro Type can also be connected to four devices at the same time via bluetooth. The keyboard will cost 150 euros.
Finally, Razer is launching the Pro Glide mouse pad with a light gray fabric surface. The mat measures 360 by 275 mm and is 3 mm thick. The Pro Glide will cost 12 euros. Mouse, keyboard and mat will be available for purchase online at Razer from August 20 and in stores from August 27. With the new Productivity Suite, Razer is competing with Logitech, which released a new mouse and keyboard in the MX series a year ago, also targeting the business market.
