Razer Announces Panthera Evo Arcade Stick
Razer has announced a variant of its Panthera arcade stick. The Panthera Evo has mechanical switches from Razer itself, the housing has been modified compared to the predecessor and there is a 3.5mm audio jack.
The housing of the Panthera Evo is slightly curved at the front compared to the Panthera and some of the buttons have been moved from the center to the top right. The placement of the eight main buttons and the Sanwa joystick is unchanged and remains in the layout of Taito’s Vewlix arcade machine.
The Panthera Evo’s push buttons now include Razer Mechanical Switches and the manufacturer has added a 3.5mm headset jack. The arcade stick is completely modular and easy to screw open. In addition, users can customize the illustrations and colors. Razer supplies the game accessory with a three-meter cable.
The arcade stick will be released sometime in the fall of 2018 for two hundred euros. This means that the Evo variant has the same suggested retail price as its predecessor.
