Rabobank will gradually renew the app and website and provide new functions
Rabobank will gradually renew its website and the Rabo Banking App. The online environments will have a different look and extra functionality. This will make it easier for users to download transactions and statements, and to navigate in the app more easily.
The most important changes to the website and app have to do with the appearance, according to the website about the adjustments that Rabobank has put online. This concerns, for example, the size of the spheres with which the access code must be entered on the login screen. The color and icon use of the app and site will also change to make it look ‘more modern and clearer’. The icon to open the app will also be changed, some buttons in the app and site will also move from place to place.
In terms of functionality, there will be a new Profile button in the app and on the site. Below you will find the personal data, settings and profiles of the user. This is also where the Logout button and the Messages button will be located. Above the transaction overview there will be a button to download transactions and statements. Finally, a menu bar will appear at the top of the internet banking page. This should allow customers to easily navigate to products such as checking, savings or mortgages. Rabobank writes that this menu bar was a wish from customers.
It is not known when the online environments of the bank will be adapted. The bank does write that this will be done step by step.
Update, Wednesday 28 August, 01.15: Rabobank announces that the update for the iOS and Android app will be released from Wednesday and that it will take a few weeks before the rollout is ready. It also appears that customers can add payment accounts from other banks in the start menu, which is possible due to the psd2 regulations.
