Rabobank app supports fingerprint login on Android devices
The Rabobank mobile banking app has received support for logging in with a fingerprint. It can also be used to sign transactions. The bank previously added support for Apple’s Touch ID.
Support has been added in a recent update of the app, according to the new features described in the Play Store. In the app, users have the option to select whether they want to log in with a fingerprint and whether they want to use the method for signing in addition.
The bank already made the feature available to iOS users last year by letting them log in using Touch ID. The bank announced the addition of the feature in August. The introduction of the feature for Android users has been delayed for some time. Other banks, such as ABN Amro and ING, already offer this functionality.
