PUBG Corp, the company behind PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, says that the mobile version of the game is now as big as Fortnite. PUBG Mobile would now have more than 200 million registered players, which roughly corresponds to the number at Fortnite.

PUBG Corp. tells The Verge that PUBG Mobile now has over 200 million registered players. This high number is quite remarkable considering that PUBG Mobile only came out for Android and iOS at the end of March. In addition, the 200 million for Fortnite applies to all platforms and not just the mobile version. Both Fortnite and PUBG Mobile are now said to have around 30 million daily active players.

At the end of November, it was announced that Fortnite Battle Royale had reached the 200 million player milestone. It concerns 200 million registered players, while that number was still 125 million in June. That growth spurt was probably mainly due to the release of the Switch version and the release of the mobile versions for Android and iOS.
