PUBG map Miramar will be available on Xbox One for a limited time from Thursday
PUBG Corporation has announced that the relatively new desert map called Miramar from the game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be playable from April 26 on various test servers in Europe.
On Tuesday, players will be able to download the necessary files for the test server, after which the desert map will be playable on April 26, 27, 28, and 29. On the first three days, the map can only be tried at night from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM. On April 28 and 29, the servers will be open to players from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. In the United States, the test is limited to the third-person perspective, but that is not the case in Europe.
According to developer PUBG Corporation, the Xbox One map is still in an early state of development, with “some aspects may not function as expected.” The company says it will listen carefully to feedback from players during the test period. The developer reports that 150 players who help find bugs will receive a reward in the form of certain in-game items.
Miramar became available on the PC test servers in early December last year and has quite a few steep cliffs that partially limit the playing field. The area is situated in a desert setting in Central or South America. Compared to the current Erangel map, the desert area has more and larger towns. The map isn’t as popular on PC as the original Erangel map, something the creator had previously capitalized on by adding more buildings and places to take cover.
