Proximus customers suffer from outages with fixed connections – update
Several Proximus customers report a malfunction in the use of fixed telephony. The provider has announced that there are problems with its VoIP platform, causing problems with fixed connections.
Proximus leave via Twitter that a solution is being worked on, but does not provide information about an expected time. The All Disruptions site shows that the problems have been occurring since about half past nine on Monday morning.
For the time being, it seems that the problem only occurs with fixed lines, although a small number of users also report problems with mobile calls. There is no information about the exact cause of the problems with the voip platform, the Proximus helpdesk cannot be reached at the time of writing.
Update, 16:35: Proximus has now announced that the problems are dissolved.
