ProtonMail releases Undo Send feature in mail client
ProtonMail has integrated a new feature into its mail client that allows users to withdraw sent mails. Emails can be withdrawn within five seconds. The feature is still in beta.
ProtonMail writes that the feature is only available in the browser version of the mail service for now. It is a beta function that should also be available in the iOS and Android apps in the future. According to ProtonMail, Undo Send was one of the most desired features for the platform.
With Undo Send, users can revoke the message within five seconds of sending an email. That length of time is fixed and cannot be changed, the company says. Only paying users with a Plus, Professional or Visionary subscription can get the feature. Free users must upgrade. The feature is on by default, but can be turned off through the settings.
