Samsung seems to be planning to announce its new generation of Galaxy smartphones on February 11. A leaked promo video gave away the date, although it is no secret that the Korean manufacturer will make its new smartphone announcements in February.

The promo video was posted on Twitter posted by a developer from XDA Developers. The short video shows that the upcoming Unpacked event is scheduled for February 11. Interested parties can follow the announcements via the Samsung website.

Samsung is expected to announce new Galaxy smartphones during its Unpacked event, as it traditionally does every February. The Galaxy S11 will probably make its appearance then; renders of the Galaxy S11+ have already surfaced recently. Incidentally, there are also rumors that Samsung will not call the new series Galaxy S11, but Galaxy S20.

Last week, Samsung announced the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Note 10 Lite. Both smartphones have a 6.7-inch screen and three cameras on the back, and are an extension of the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series, respectively.

Update 12:49 PM: Samsung has now officially sent out the invitations for the event on February 11.
