Pro version Huawei headset with built-in USB-C connector has longer battery life
Manufacturer Huawei has presented the Freelaces Pro, a Bluetooth headset with a built-in USB-C connector. The built-in connector allows users to pair the headset without having to enter the bluetooth menu.
The Freelaces Pro can charge quickly and are therefore ready for five hours of wireless listening after five minutes of charging, the product page states. Predecessor Freelace also had a USB-C connector for pairing. In total, the battery should last for 24 hours, a lot longer than the 16 hours of the non-Pro version. It is again a design in which both ears are connected with wire.
The headset has 14mm drivers and three microphones for picking up sound. There is also active noise cancellation that should be able to filter out up to 40dB of noise. The ears are currently only for the Chinese market and cost 599 yuan, which is currently about 72 euros. Predecessor Freelace came out together with the P30 smartphone last year and then cost 99 euros.
