Presumed renders of Google Pixel Watch 3 show slightly thicker watch

Supposed renders of the Google Pixel Watch 3 have come online. They show that not much has changed on the outside compared to the Pixel Watch 2. The renders only show a slightly thicker design.

The renders were discovered by 91mobiles and OnLeaks. They show a watch with a 41mm size and a 1.2” display, the same as the current Pixel Watch 2. The only difference is the thickness, which would be 14mm for the Pixel Watch 3. The Pixel Watch 2 had a thickness of 12.3mm. According to 91mobiles, the watch is thicker to house a marginally larger battery. The Pixel Watch 3 will have a 307mAh battery. The current model has a 304mAh one.

9to5Google reported earlier this year that Google is also working on a larger, 45mm version of the watch. Both versions will likely ship with Wear OS 5. Google said in May that this new version of the operating system should improve battery life.
