PowerColor hints at the coming RX 5700 XT GPU with integrated water block from EKWB
Powercolor hints at the arrival of an RX 5700 XT with integrated water block. For this, the company works together with EK Water Blocks. When the video card will be released and what the card will cost has not yet been announced.
PowerColor has shared a teaser photo with the water-cooled video card. That reports TechPowerUp. The photo shows a variation of PowerColor’s Red Devil logo. Unlike the Red Devil, this logo is not red and the image contains water drops. Zoomed in and with increased clarity, the logo of manufacturer EK Water Blocks can be seen. The so-called Liquid Devil will not contain a PhD water cooler. Instead, the card has a full cover water block to be used in a PC with custom water cooling kit.
In terms of performance and specifications, nothing is known about the Liquid Devil yet. However, given the water block, it is expected that the card will be overclocked from the factory. The RX 5700 XT runs standard at a clock speed of 1605MHz with a boost speed of 1905MHz. PowerColor’s current top model in the RX series, the Red Devil RX 5700 XT, has a standard clock speed of 1770MHz but retains the boost speed of 1905MHz.
