Pokémon Legends Arceus is coming to Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022

Open-world RPG Pokémon Legends Arceus will be released for Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022. The remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl have also been given a release date: those Switch games will be released on November 19 this year.

Pokémon Legends Arceus is an all-new Pokémon RPG created by Game Freak. The game was announced at the end of February, but the release date was not yet known. The Pokémon website with information about the game now also shows the release date of January 28, 2022.

The game takes place in the Sinnoh region known from previous games, but far in the feudal past. The story is set in an era when Pokémon Trainers and the Pokémon League did not yet exist. Players must create the ‘first ever Pokédex’ in the game.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl on November 19

Furthermore, the Pokémon Company with Nintendo announces that the remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl will be released for the Switch on November 19 this year. These games also take place in the Sinnoh region and originally came out in 2006 for the Nintendo DS. All new Pokémon games have a suggested retail price of $60. Euro prices have not yet been announced.
