POCO M4 Pro 5G with Dimensity 810-soc costs 199 euros
POCO, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, announces the M4 Pro 5G. The device is very similar to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11, which was previously released in China. The POCO variant will be released worldwide and will have an introductory price of 199 euros.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G contains a MediaTek Dimensity 810-soc, which is made at 6nm and has eight cores with a speed of up to 2.4GHz. The device has a 6.6″ LCD with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. There is a hole in the screen for the front camera, which has a 16-megapixel resolution.
The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and supports fast charging with 33W. The specs and appearance of the POCO M4 Pro 5G are similar to the base version of the Redmi Note 11 that Xiaomi announced at the end of October.
There will be versions with 4GB and 6GB Lpddr4x memory and that is combined with 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 flash storage. On the back is a primary camera with a 50-megapixel sensor and an ultra-wide-angle camera with 8-megapixel resolution. The camera island seems to contain more sensors, but that is not the case. Filming is done in a maximum 1080p resolution at 60fps.
The case has a fingerprint scanner on the side and the dimensions are 163.6×75.8×8.6mm. The weight is 195 grams. The device runs on the POCO variant of MIUI 12.5, which is based on Android 11. POCO sells the M4 Pro 5G in blue, black and yellow. The manufacturer uses introductory prices of 199 euros for the 4 + 64 GB variant and 219 euros for the 6 + 128 GB version.
