Pocket Pair adds new Pals, arena mode and island to Palworld
Developer Pocket Pair has announced a new update for Palworld: the Sakurajima update. The game will have a new island, new Pals, new game modes, new buildings and servers reserved for Xbox players. The update will be available from June 27.
According to Pocket Pair This update not only introduces new Pals, but also new variants of existing Pals. New factions and bosses would also be added to the game. Previously defeated bosses can also be challenged again via a new hard mode. Thanks to the update, it also becomes possible to plant new buildings and structures in the virtual game world. Players who want to expand their number of bases will soon be able to do so as the maximum number of bases per player has been increased.
Pocket Pair has also introduced some new game modes. For example, there will be an arena mode in which players and their Pals can compete against each other. There will also be a virtual oil rig, which is defended by in-game opponents and must be captured. Palworld will also have separate Xbox servers. These servers must provide a more stable online experience by, for example, improving latency and solving certain login problems. The Sakurajima update will be available for free via Steam and Xbox starting June 27.
