Plex will support Xbox One and Xbox 360. The media center software will first appear on Tuesday for the One, after which support will be ‘soon’ for the slightly older game console, the 360.

Plex will roll out the software for the Xbox One on Tuesday. To install the media center software, you must have a Plex Pass. Depending on the form, this must be paid periodically or once. Plex says the software for the Xbox 360 will follow soon, but does not mention a specific release date.

Microsoft’s game console software features gesture and voice control. The interface has also been overhauled. This includes the home screen and the film and television libraries, Plex announced on its blog on Monday.

With Plex it is possible to stream and synchronize content between devices. The software is already available for most operating systems, as well as several mobile operating systems and devices such as the Chromecast and the Amazon FireTV.
