PlayStation and Guerrilla Games announce LEGO Horizon Adventures
Sony PlayStation announced LEGO Horizon Adventures at the Summer Game Fest show in Los Angeles. The game is made by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo and will be released for PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch at the end of 2024.
The story of LEGO Horizon Adventures is loosely based on the events in Horizon: Zero Dawn, but with a much less serious approach, where the action naturally takes place in a game world built entirely from LEGO bricks. The same goes for the signature dino machines and all the characters in the game. The game can be played solo, but the presentation also revealed that the gameplay is designed to be played by two players in co-op, which can be done both locally and online.
The announcement from LEGO Horizon Adventures comes as no surprise. The suspected existence of the game was already leaked in May, when a well-known leaker revealed that Sony and LEGO would announce a game together.
Although LEGO Horizon Adventures is a game from PlayStation itself, this happier version of Horizon: Zero Dawn will not be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5. The game will be available simultaneously for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC in the holiday season of 2024 .
