PlayStation 4 Version Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Coming December 18
The PlayStation 4 version of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be released next month. Players can sign up for the closed beta via the Vermintide 2 website since November 15. The beta will remain online until the release date.
Developer Fatshark reports that the Against the grain, Righteous Stand and Athel Yenlui maps are playable in closed beta. The maps each come from one of the three parts of the campaign. Progress made in the beta carries over to the full game. Whether the PS4 version will have the same interface as the Xbox One version is not yet clear.
A pre-order version of the game is available with all expansions, including the unreleased Back to Übersreik expansion and four days of early access to the game. The Pre-Order Ultimate Edition costs 54.99 euros. There is currently no other PS4 version of the full game available to order. In addition, it is not yet known what the base game for the console will cost.
Fatshark won’t announce the release of the Back to Übersreik expansion until shortly before the release of the DLC for other versions. Vermintide 2 came out for Windows last March. The Xbox One version of the shooter was released in July.
