Hades, the rogue-like from Supergiant Games, may be released for PlayStation 4. The game has hit the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee, which has determined that the game is for players 15 and older.

Such age certifications are often the very first indication that a game is on the way. Officially, the game’s creators haven’t said anything about a version for the PlayStation 4. So far, the game has been released on Windows, macOS and the Nintendo Switch, with cross-save functionality between PC and Switch. If the game is released on PS4, chances are it will also be playable on PS5.

Take-Two is listed on the page as an applicant for the certification. Perhaps the game publisher or its Indie Private Division will take care of the physical distribution of the game, at least in South Korea. Originally, Supergiant Games itself is the publisher of Hades.

Hades is described as one rogue-like dungeon crawler which combines some aspects of other Supergiant games such as fast-paced action, character-driven storytelling and turn-based gameplay. As a player, you take on the role of the immortal Prince of the Underworld and your goal is to break free from the god of death and the underworld. Hades won the best indie and action game award at The Game Awards in 2020. Other titles from the studio include Bastion, Transistor and Pyre.
