PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold 70 million units to date, likely co-selling for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Developer PUBG Corporation’s battleroyal game went into Early Access in March 2017.

When announcing the sales figure , the developer makes no distinction between the sales numbers for the different platforms. The game is also available for free as a mobile version. PUBG became available as an Early Access title in March 2017 and was officially released at the end of that year. More than half a year after that official release, the milestone of 50 million copies sold was already reached and the shooter was only released on PS4 in December 2018. It took more than two years for the twenty million copies sold that have now been added.

Season 8 is now approaching, with which the Sanhok jungle playfield is getting a remaster. In addition, there will be a new feature called the Loot Trucks, although Ranked Matches are excluded. They are wheeled, armored trucks that leave loot when they are damaged. Destroying such a truck provides extra weapons and equipment. These weapons already have certain additions and skins. This new season will be released on PC on July 22 and can now be found on the test server. Players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will have to wait until July 30.
