PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Gets Survival Progression System
PUBG Corp. released patch 4.3 for the PC version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Part of this patch is a progression system that grants experience points for things outside of shooting, which are also important for staying alive.
This new part, Survival Mastery, is more or less the counterpart of all the existing Weapon Mastery. The latter system is all about the achievements gained from using the different weapons, while the new survival progression system is about different patterns and actions that are important for staying alive. This involves collecting loot, using items, fighting and bringing a teammate back to life. Regardless of the season, the system continues to award experience points for these types of actions, reaching a maximum level of 500. There are rewards ahead for reaching a number of levels.
To help understand the system, a summary timeline for each round is added to the Mastery section of the main screen, showing all the Survival moves performed during the match. That timeline shows all kinds of elements that give you experience points, such as the landing point on the playing field, the location where players perform actions, the damage inflicted and incurred, the distance a player travels with vehicles and the survival of the different phases where the playing field is constantly changing. gets smaller.
The data also analyzes the player’s playstyle, taking into account, among other things, the length of firefights, distance from enemies during combat, total distance covered and amount of damage taken per game. round.
Patch 4.3 requires 6GB of storage. In addition to the addition of the new progression system, there will be a new double-barreled gun, the distance at which the sound of footsteps can be heard, and optimizations have been made to improve the frame rate in multi-player areas.
