PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be released for the PlayStation 4 in December, according to multiple sources. That’s a year after the game came out on the Xbox One. It is not yet clear when the battle royale game will be released for the Sony console

Analyst Daniel Ahmad says on the ResetEra forum that PUBG is coming to the PlayStation 4 in December. He makes that announcement in a topic from a user who found references to the game in his PS4 database.

In response to the forum post, Eurogamer writes that other sources confirm that PUBG will come to Sony’s console in December. It is common for games to be exclusive to one console for years and years and then become available on other consoles as well.

The various sources do not mention the date on which the PS4 version of PUBG will be released. The Xbox One version was released on December 12 last year, so it’s likely around or after that date. Back in September, there was already an indication that PUBG was coming to Sony’s console: the games rating authority in South Korea then rated a PS4 version of PUBG.
