Google has revealed more details about its upcoming Android tablet Pixel Tablet. The tablet has a Tensor G2 soc, which is also in the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. The tablet also gets a Speaker Dock, which charges the tablet, plays sound and allows the tablet to serve as a smart home hub.

The Speaker Dock can be connected to the tablet with magnets. The connection is done with pogo pins on the back of the tablet. The dock can be used to play music louder than is possible with the tablet. Users can then also use the tablet as a smart home hub. There was a rumor about this before.

Google had the Pixel Tablet already teased at its developer conference I/O. Then the search giant said that the tablet will only be released next year. Google still hasn’t said when exactly that will be. The company has not yet announced other specs of the tablet and the Speaker Dock.
