Pictures show 15″ laptop, tablet and 2-in-1 from Huawei
Images have surfaced online of a laptop, a tablet and a 2-in-1 in the Huawei MateBook series. The laptop will probably have a 15″ screen and the 2-in-1 seems to have a 12.5″ screen with a 3:2 ratio.
The Geekbench database showed test results of the ‘Huawei H95-Pascal-W19’, a 15″ laptop with an Intel Core i7-7200U processor. The model was published by tech journalist Roland Quandt. observed and after tweeting about it, telecom insider Evan Blass responded with a tweet in which he posted pictures shows of three new Huawei products.
Blass’ photos show the MateBook E, X and D, with X being the laptop model codenamed Pascal. According to Quandt, who relies on drawings and dimensions from telecom agency fcc, the MateBook D is better known by the codename Watt and has a 12.5″ screen with a 3:2 ratio. The image seems to indicate that the is a 2-in-1 whose screen can be folded, but cannot be detached.
The new MateBook E would be known as Bell and would have model number BL-WX9. This would be a successor to the first Huawei MateBook, a Windows 10 tablet with optional keyboard cover that was shown at MWC in February last year. The original version had a 12″ screen with a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels and an Intel Core m processor. It is not yet clear when Huawei will announce the new products.
