Pictures of Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7″ are online
Marketing renders of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7″ have surfaced online. The images seem to confirm that the tablet has smaller bezels and a higher resolution screen than its predecessor.
The renders are online set by telecom insider Evan Blass, who did so via his Twitter account @evleaks. The images show the tablet in black and white, with the buttons that can also be found on the Galaxy S5: a physical Home button, surrounded by touch-sensitive buttons for Back and Recent Apps. The date on the screenshot is Thursday, April 24. That indicates that the announcement will not be months away.
The images show that the tablet has an aspect ratio of 16:10, which differs from the aspect ratio of the 1024×600 resolution on the touchscreen of the current Tab 3 7″. Samsung will probably increase the resolution to 1280×800 pixels, with which the number of pixels per inch is 215.
The tablet will measure around 18.4×10.6cm. According to previous rumors, the Tab 4 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-soc on board with Adreno 305 GPU, with 1GB of RAM. The battery capacity would be 4450mAh, more than the 4000mAh of the current Tab 3 7″. Samsung released the Tab 3 line last summer.
