Photos show passively cooled Nvidia GT 1030 video cards
New photos have surfaced online of GT 1030 video cards. This time, among other things, passively cooled models from MSI and Gigabyte. Nvidia has not officially announced the budget GPU yet, but a release seems near.
The database of rumor site VideoCardz has published photos and specifications of the Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 2GB Silent LP and the MSI GeForce GT 1030 2GB LP Passive. The passively cooled cards would consume 35 watts and according to the website they will be released in the second quarter of this year. The second quarter ends at the end of June.
Both cards have 2GB of vram, a 64-bit memory bus and a memory bandwidth of 56GB/s. The budget video cards would be based on Nvidia’s GP108-300 GPU, with 384 cudacores, 24 tmu’s and 8 rops.
VideoCardz has also posted photos online of Gigabyte and MSI GT 1030 cards equipped with an active cooler. At the beginning of May, a photo of a KFA video card based on the Nvidia GT 1030 appeared.
