Photos show OnePlus 9
Photos have surfaced of what would become the OnePlus 9 phone. The device shows a camera island that looks different from its predecessors, with a metal ring around two large camera lenses.
Next to the camera is the word ‘ultra shot’, a term that OnePlus has been using for a year in its camera software. PhoneArena, the site that posted the photos, thinks that text may change to camera specs before release, as with previous models.
The photos show, among other things, that the slider to silence the phone returns; which was missing from the Nord N10 and N100 models that appeared this fall. In the settings you can find that the phone has a 6.55 “screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, like the OnePlus 8T. The manufacturer puts the Snapdragon 888 in the phone, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. the front has a resolution of 16 megapixels, something the settings render as 4 megapixels, while at the back it has a 48-megapixel sensor that takes 12-megapixel photos.
OnePlus will probably announce its new smartphone next spring. A render of the phone already appeared earlier and it matches the photos that have now appeared. OnePlus has not commented on the appearance of the photos.
