Photos show electric suv Volkswagen ID.4
Photos of Volkswagen’s ID.4 have appeared, the car brand’s first fully electrically powered SUV. Volkswagen has not yet fully unveiled the car itself, the manufacturer already showed a teaser of the model, also known as the ID Crozz, last year.
The design somewhat resembles that of the ID.3, the much smaller electric hatchback that Volkswagen presented last year and will soon appear in Europe. Volkswagen also seems to use the concept name Crozz on the production model. In any case, the name is on the car that can be seen in the photos that have appeared on a Volkswagen ID fan forum. The car goes through life like the ID.4 Crozz.
In September last year, Volkswagen already showed a teaser of the ID.4, but the SUV was then only visible with camouflage stickers behind glass. Before that, the brand already showed the concept car ID.Crozz. The ID.4 is the production version of that. It is the first electric SUV from Volkswagen, the car should be released in Europe, the United States and China.
Volkswagen is said to be planning to unveil the ID.4 itself later this summer. Earlier, the manufacturer said that the model in the United States will have an 83 kWh battery and a range of up to 482 km. The car can fast charge with a power of 150Kw via direct current. The battery would be 80 percent full after half an hour of charging.
