Photos of a concept of the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone have surfaced. The phone has four cameras on the back and a screen with a hole in it for the front camera. The screen is curved at the edges.

Previous rumors indicated that the Mi 10 would not have a notch or hole in the screen, but Techdroider’s photos show a hole in the top left of the screen for the front camera. The photos appear to have been taken during a Xiaomi demonstration; the phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network Mi Demo.

The reflections on the edge show that Xiaomi has opted for a screen with curved edges. It doesn’t look like the Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s waterfall screen that bends at an 88-degree angle. Bending the screen is only possible with OLED screens, which indicates that the Mi 10 has an OLED screen, just like its predecessor Mi 9.

Xiaomi often announces its Mi phones in winter. The Chinese manufacturer presented the Mi 9 in February last year. It has no presentation scheduled for next month as of yet. Next month is also telecom fair Mobile World Congress, where Xiaomi announced the European release of the Mi 9 last year.

Update, Thursday 7:32: These are images of ‘a concept’ and therefore not of the unannounced phone itself. This is therefore not a photo of the Mi 10, but an edited image of an existing model.
