Photos of unannounced HTC A16 smartphone pop up
Photos have emerged of a still unannounced smartphone from HTC that would bear the code name A16. The device will probably be equipped with midrange hardware, but most specifications are still missing.
The photos are online set on Twitter by telecom journalist Evan Blass, who has a reputation for being the first to come up with images of unannounced smartphones. The photos show the new HTC device in six different colors, with a camera in the top left corner on the back. Furthermore, there seem to be built-in speakers on the front both below and above.
Nothing is yet clear about the hardware used, except that the naming indicates that it should probably be a midrange smartphone. It is also not yet known when HTC would like to announce the smartphone or what price will be used.
Earlier this month, Blass came up with a first photo of the suspected HTC M10, which would be known internally at the Taiwanese company under the name Perfume. What is striking about this device is that it has a different appearance compared to previous HTC models, including a metal edge and a home button with fingerprint scanner. Recently showed Blass another photo, which shows the design of the M10 more clearly.
