Photos may show Google Pixel 3 XL

Two photos have surfaced online of what is believed to be Google’s Pixel 3 XL. The photos show the front and back of the device, and confirm, among other things, that a screen with a so-called notch is built in at the front.

The photos in question came out via a post on XDA Developers, but it’s not clear what the source is. The photos do look realistic and confirm previous rumors; for example, it was previously rumored that Google would provide its new Pixel smartphone with a screen with notch, and this can also be seen in the leaked photos.

One of the photos shows the back, and it shows a fingerprint scanner, and the camera. The image shows that Google has not opted for a dual camera on the back. Two cameras can be seen on the front; Google may want to use it for facial recognition, for example to unlock the smartphone.

No images of the suspected Pixel 3 XL have come out before, but photos have already shown the possible screen protectors for the smartphone. It already showed that the XL variant of the new Pixel might get a notch. Presumably, for the new smartphone, Google no longer needs help from a smartphone manufacturer for the design and production.
