Photos and video of Motorola Moto G 2015 smartphone appear online
Images have appeared online of the next version of the Motorola Moto G. The video shows some specifications. Motorola sticks to a 5″ screen with 1280×720 pixels and also sticks to the working memory of 1GB.
The budget device does have 4g as standard, as can be concluded from video, which is on Google+. The previous Moto G’s did come with 4g variants, but they appeared later. It also seems that Motorola has left out the dualsim option, but that is not certain.
The photos appeared on another Google+ account and show the design in more detail. It is a plastic housing, on which a metal-colored strip is placed in the middle at the back. It houses the camera, the dual LED flash and a dimple, presumably the place where other Motorola smartphones with approximately the same design would have a fingerprint scanner. The next Moto X, among others, would also have this design.
The device would run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410-soc, with four Cortex A53 processor cores at a maximum of 1.4GHz and an Adreno 306-gpu. Motorola sticks to the RAM of 1GB, while the storage is still 8GB. The camera on the back would have a resolution of thirteen megapixels, the one on the front five megapixels.
When the device should be released and at what price is unknown. The first two Moto G’s appeared in the fall and cost less than 200 euros upon release.
