Photos and specs of HP’s Windows 10 smartphone are online
On a Hungarian site, photos and specifications of a smartphone that HP would release as the Elite X3 and that would run Windows 10 Mobile. HP would officially unveil the device next week.
The photos show a smartphone with a 5.96 “screen with a striking grid underneath with a logo of audio specialist Bang & Olufsen. The resolution of the screen would be 1440×2560 pixels. HP would equip the Elite X3 with the Snapdragon 820, where the Lumia 950 XL still has to make do with a Snapdragon 810.
The specification list also includes the presence of an iris scanner, a fingerprint scanner and support for wireless charging via Qi. There is 4GB of memory and 32GB of storage, which can be expanded via microSD cards. According to the Hungarian site Tech2, the smartphone has USB-C and is 7.8 mm thick. The site says it has received the photos and details from a ‘trusted source’.
There is also an 8-megapixel camera and a 16-megapixel variant and the phone is said to be resistant to water and dust to a level as described by the IP67 standard and is resistant to drops according to a MIL STD810 rating.
HP was set to unveil the Elite X3 at the MWC telecom show in Barcelona next week. Previously, professional good EVLeaks already know that HP would release a device with Windows 10 Mobile as the Elite X3.
