Photo shows the front of suspected 6.4″ smartphone from Xiaomi
It seems that Xiaomi is developing a smartphone that will have a screen with a diagonal of no less than 6.4″. A photo of the front panel has surfaced, but the device has not yet been officially announced.
An image of the suspected smartphone was shown on the Chinese website Mydrivers. According to the site, the photo belongs to a device that will bear the name Max. The screen has a diagonal of 6.4″, and according to Mydrivers there is also a fingerprint scanner built into the front. In the housing, which is said to be made of metal, a Snapdragon 820-soc from Qualcomm would do its job. the specifications have not yet been reported.
The name Max comes from a poll that Xiaomi previously held, in which people could vote for the name of a still unannounced smartphone. It is therefore plausible that, also given the size of the screen, it concerns the smartphone that is shown in the photo of Mydrivers. Because Xiaomi has not officially announced anything yet, it remains to be seen whether the reported information is correct. Nothing is yet known about a possible announcement from the Chinese manufacturer.
