Photo shows successor ASUS ROG Phone 3
A photo has emerged of what would be the successor to the ASUS ROG Phone 3. The photo shows a large red button on the bottom left, presumably to activate the phone’s game mode.
The photo comes from WHYLAB on Weibo, a well-known leaker of photos of unannounced smartphones. Although the successor to the ROG Phone 3 would normally be called ROG Phone 4, it clearly has 05 written on the case. The number 4 is an unlucky number in some Asian cultures and some telephone makers prefer to use that number as little as possible; For example, OnePlus went from 3 to 5 in its phone series.
The photo also shows that the new ROG Phone will have a 64-megapixel camera, a resolution that is widely used on smartphones. In addition, two more lenses can be seen. ASUS has already started teasing its new ROG Phone. The phone will probably get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888-soc and 8GB of memory. An inspection showed that it can be charged with 65W. ASUS has not commented on the publication of the photo.
