Photo of alleged Nvidia RTX 3080 video card appears online
Pictures of the alleged RTX 3080 video card have surfaced on the Chinese forum ChipHell. According to forum users, this concerns the possible Founder’s Edition Nvidia. The video card is equipped with two fans, one of which is placed at the back of the cooler.
The photos were posted by a forum user on ChipHell, after which they were noticed by Twitter user HXL. According to the forum members, it is a Founder’s Edition of Nvidia. However, the chip manufacturer has not officially announced anything about its upcoming GeForce GPUs. These images should therefore be taken with a grain of salt.
The video card in the photo features a cooler with two fans, one of which is placed on the back of the cooler. The fan on the front seems to be placed directly above the GPU, while the fan is on the other end of the cooler.

The pcb also seems to have a v-shaped cutout. There are no power connections visible in the photos. These may have been placed on the side of the GPU, just like with GPUs such as the RTX 2060, 2060 Super and current Quadro and Tesla video cards. The video card also appears to be blue at first glance, although this color seems to come from the protective film that is still on the cooler. Presumably the actual design is silver colored.
It is not yet known when Nvidia will announce its next generation of RTX GPUs. In May, the chip manufacturer presented its Ampere architecture, which the video cards will use.
