Philips Lighting will release new products in its Hue series of smart lighting in July. The company will then make a set of spotlights and a garden lamp available for the Hue ecosystem, among other things.

As with the lamps for the home, the outdoor lighting can be controlled with the Hue app and with voice control. The lighting can be combined with the location function of Home & Away, among other things, so that the lighting switches on as soon as the user comes close to his house.

This concerns both white and colored lighting, with color temperatures from 2200 to 6500 Kelvin. The color lighting can display sixteen million colors. The Lily is a color spotlight that the user can use to illuminate parts of the garden, while the Calla is a column lamp to provide paths with colored light, for example.

Philips also mentions lamps in the Hue White series, such as the Lucca, Tuar and Turaco, but apart from the starting price of these being 70 euros, not much is known about it yet. The also announced Ludere and PAR38 sets will only be released in the US for the time being.
