Philips Hue bulbs receive support for adaptive lighting with Apple HomeKit
Philips Hue lamps can adjust their color according to the time of day for users who control the lamps via Apple HomeKit. The feature is in iOS 14, but now the Hue software has also received an update to support the feature.

The feature is called Adaptive Lighting and is available with version 1941132070 of the Hue Bridge software, iCulture reports. When the function is on, the lamp starts in the morning with warm colors and then emits cooler hues during the day. In the evening the lamps make themselves a bit warmer.
Adaptive lighting works with lamps from the White & Color Ambiance series and the White Ambiance lamp series. Signify had previously promised that the feature was coming and it was already available in a beta version of the software. Apple added the feature in iOS 14, which came out in September.
