Perfect World is working on free Persona 5 spin-off The Phantom X for smartphones
Publisher Perfect World comes with a smartphone game in the Persona universe. Persona 5: The Phantom X will be free-to-play and available for Android and iOS devices. No specific release date has been announced yet.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is being developed by studio Black Wings, though Persona developer Atlus is overseeing development, writes IGN. The smartphone title should resemble Persona 5 in terms of style and gameplay, although the gameplay has been adapted for smartphone control.
The game will include a series of new characters designed by Atlus. As in Persona 5, the player can attend classes at school during the day, engage in activities such as sports and watch movies, and play at night. the Metaverse infiltrate. The Phantom X follows a group called the Phantom Thieves and revolves around the theme of ‘desire’.
No release date has yet been announced for the smartphone game. Developer Black Wings will hold a playtest in China on March 29. Details about a possible worldwide release have not yet been shared.
