Patriot introduces m2 NVME SSD for the entry-level market
Manufacturer Patriot Memory announces an m2-nvme-ssd. This is the P300, which uses a PCI-e 3.0 x4 interface. With the P300, Patriot focuses mainly on the entry-level SSD market.
The P300 will be available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB variants with a 2TB version in the future. It is not known which controller the SSDs have. The 128GB version is the entry-level of the range, with sequential read and write speeds of 1600 and 600MB/s respectively.
The 256GB and 512GB variants should achieve sequential read speeds of 1700MB/s, with the 1TB version being able to drop 2100MB/s. As for writing, the 256GB variant achieves a speed of 1100MB/s, the 256GB version 1200MB/s and the 1TB SSD 1650MB/s, Hardware.info writes.
