Patch For Far Cry Primal Adds Expert Mode
Simultaneously with the release of Far Cry Primal on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Ubisoft released a patch that adds a higher level of difficulty. In this Expert mode, players have less health and enemies are stronger.
The console version of Far Cry Primal has received a day one patch that is approximately 560MB in size. The update gives players the option to opt for Expert mode, which is the highest difficulty. According to Ubisoft, in Expert mode, players have half the health of playing on ‘Hard’. There is also less help with aiming, the AI shoots faster, enemies are not just shown on the minimap and they are less likely to forget where you are if they have spotted you. Players in Expert mode also do less damage.
The patch also fixes a number of bugs and gameplay issues. Players of the game will have had little to no problem with this, as Far Cry Primal has only been available for purchase for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 since Tuesday. The Windows version will follow in March.
